YES, yes I do! We have a high ceiling with (faux) beams in the family room and in between the beams is textured-- BLECH! I really want to slap some bead board up there for a fresh up to date look. Sarah
Sarah, let me know if you do it. I have textured ceilings as well, but just know I would be pushing it to get the b-board up. Also i am sure I don't have the budget.
These ceilings are stunning! Wish I could afford to do something like this. You have great taste Laurie. And thanks for stopping by Jewel Box Home. I loved your comment!
Don't know if it is cheaper or more expensive, but Armstrong makes a faux plank ceiling that supposed to be a snap to put up. Made of the same stuff as the old ceiling tiles, so no weight involved. I've always wanted to use it to cover popcorn ceilings, but just never got around to it. Here's their link: http://www.armstrong.com/resclgam/na/ceilings/en/us/planks.asp

Yes, I love bead board ceilings! I have the ugly popcorn ceiling. Blech! I am hoping I can do this and if I do it will be done one room at a time.
ReplyDeleteYep. Very nice. Fresh, clean and airy looking.
ReplyDeleteI also love bead boarding on the ceiling. It reminds me of a country club or spa. Very serene.
ReplyDeleteMy best, Lynn
Oh thats beautiful! I also have that popcorn ceiling and would love beadboard!

ReplyDeleteHope this helps!
The ceiling looks great! I like the contrast between the bead board and the faux beams. Photos should be in a magazine.
