I need your help

It seems like every few months I have a "what the heck am I doing" crisis when it comes to my little blog project.  Not in the way of wondering should I go on, because the reality is I love my little blog.  It is a warm and nurturing place for me.  It gives me a platform to put out what I want to put out, and hopefully have readers who enjoy what I am doing.

Instead, my crisis is more along the line of focusing my point of view.

Every week, I post my little projects and thoughts, taking you on my journey.  But do you really know what my vision is?  Do you need to know what my vision is?  I think, like most, I have the final outcome in my head, however, how do I present it when things are not completed?

Although, I have faith in my vision, I have always struggled with how best to put them in words.  I'm not sure of a style that completely describes what I am doing.  The best I had was a kind of Farmhouse/Cottage/Scandinavian inspired mash-up of a style.  But even that was not accurate.

And then it came to me, I knew what exactly to call it and what components I thought were necessary. So I pulled out my note book-

and I started to write-
And then I continued to write-
And write-

And then I wrote some more until I got it all out.

In all I wrote 11 pages on what I am calling the "Lived in Look"

Now I need to sift through it all and see whats the best way to present it.  With this much stuff I am guessing I will have more than one post.

So my question to you is....How would you like to see this?

Do you think I should present a series of posts over a week?  Or spread them out, once a week, with posts of other various projects I have completed?   (Because I do have some of those of as well).

I would appreciate your thoughts on this.  I am very excited to finally get it out and write the posts.  I think you will like them.  I look forward to hearing from you.

  4. I would love it any which way you present it. Lots of pictures. Even your pix that are simply your inspiration. I have never known how to define my style either, but I like how you described yours, and it does seem to fit. I have kind of called mine "bohemian cottage" lately, and only because I gave up on a few things that were in my home mostly to please other people...oddly enough who rarely even visited my home!! Now it is just "lived in...us". Keep blogging, I love to see what you are doing!
