Seriously for $3.50

I get frustrated with the labeling sometimes at stores like Home Depot and Target.  There is nothing more frustrating than thinking you have found a great deal, only to get to the register and find out it is 3 times as much as you thought.

So, I am usually skeptical when I see a deal I think is just too good.  However, I have learned to get a price check.  Earlier this year I almost walked away from a bucket of wood filler priced at $1.90.

The other day I came across this, priced at $3.50.
Seriously- $3.50.  A wood handled Ralph Lauren roller.

I am in love with the handle.  I am imagining all the projects I will have with this little guy in the future and how wonderfully speckled with paint he will become.

  1. Score! Was it on sale or something? That's a great deal.

  2. Love it! I have the same problem in retail stores (or more specifically with items with no price on), which is why I have become addicted to price checks, even if it means taking five extra items to the cash register just to get the correct price. I have gotten some fabulous deals this way, because so many people just leave an item, if there is no price on.

  3. I think it was a discontinued item. IF I am correct they no longer carry Ralph Lauren paint and this is a special roller to do a finish, but I will just replace the roller and be in love.
