We just purchased a new one and in the process have discovered how personal this choice is. Everyone has an opinion on what the perfect fridge is.

Smooth black, side by side.
The side by side is by far my favorite! We remodeled our kitchen in our last house and I LOVED the huge stainless side by side we had. In the new house there is a french door fridge and it's the worst! The doors never shut all the way so it's always beeping and getting too warm inside. I also think the layout of the interior space is terrible. I can't fit half the stuff I could in the side by side, especially the freezer drawer.

I had a side by side and I loved it...but unfortunately is got sick and we had to get another one.We had to get the standard with freezer on top:( Your looks great!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have excellent taste! (In other words, my fridge looks just like yours.) I like the ***LOOK*** of stainless...just not the constant battle to keep it looking clean (fingerprints, water drips, etc). Sadly, the most important feature to me is that the freezer holds the all-mighty frozen pizza box. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the side by side freezer on the bottom fridges. I read in Consumer Reports that it saves energy as well. I told my neighbor that and she switched her mind to that one. I'm fighting the Green Monster of envy every time I walk in her kitchen. ;o)
