This past weekend I had the opportunity to meet some of the local DC bloggers. Melissa from HOUSEography and Cassie from Primitive & Proper were kind enough to put it all together.
One of my resolutions this year was to get out and get plugged in with the blogging community, so I was super excited to go. I found a place to stash my kids for the afternoon (Thanks Coreen) and headed of, with ample amount of time. I hate showing up late.
Do you see where I am going with this??? Yes I was late. And not a little late, like an hour late. No matter what I would have done it was inevitable. The Cherry Blossom Festival opened on Saturday, so needless to say there was a huge back up in the Nation's Capital, also there was some marathon as well, but that would have made me only about 20 minutes late- Nope I found myself in Alexandria with a massive need to pee. I should not have had that pot of coffee. Eventually, I got my self back on track.
Anyways, I did make it, right as Danielle was leaving (Hi Danielle, hope we get some time to chat). And I was so glad I made it.
All the girls were awesome. I love chatting and getting to know everyone. I hope that this is just the first of many get-togethers. Here are the Gals...
Here I am am with Sarah- Sarah and I started around the time and have been following each other ever since. I was super happy to finally meet her.
Make sure you stop in and visit everyone's blogs- They are all great!
