I already crossed off:
This time I can add:
You can read more about it -Stairwell Gallery Wall. I am really excited on how it turned out.
Touch up trim paint in Living room
This is not a big reveal, but one of those things that needs to get done.
I am sad to say that I am throwing in the towel on the rest of my list. Sometimes you just need to now when to say when. And I am saying when. These projects are going to have to wait until after our family vacation.
Make curtains for Living room and Dining room- No Progress
Make curtains for sons room- No Progress
Fix hole & create shelves-(Upstairs Bath)-
Patch and paint walls- (Upstairs Bath)-No Progress
Make curtains- (Upstairs Bath)- No Progress
So I guess the question of can I do it in 40 days is...

"Throwing in the towel"? Girl, you rocked it! The stairwell looks fantastic, and you accomplished a tremendous amount. I wouldn't call it "throwing in the towel", I would call it taking a well deserved break. I was beginning to wonder why I couldn't get as much accomplished in the fixer upper house we're living in. I would go and go and then drop. Then I'd see your project list and feel like I was wasting time. Reality check...we need to balance time spent. My projects never end, my kids' childhoods do.
ReplyDeleteBut you did accomplish a whole heckuva lot! Funny how you can get the paint projects done in a snap. I would have gone for the curtains! I always psyche myself out that painting and sanding takes too long.

Wow, your stairway gallery looks AWESOME! I hope you don't mind if I copy that and give you credit of course. I have a stair way a lot like yours and the other side is one big empty wall. I have pics that I need to get framed and put up. Plus make room for my newest addition. :) Enjoy your upcoming family vacation! :)
ReplyDeleteGive yourself a pat on the back. You got more done than I could have in a year!!
